If you love to write and you are interested in making some money from online writing, you must know that both Triond and Helium offer you great opportunities to earn income and get fun from writing. You may wonder: which one is really worth your time?
Firstly, let us look at the advantages that Triond provides:
1 — Triond gives you more freedom to choose a title or create content that interests you.
Indeed, Helium also offers you a great number of topics to choose, but not necessarily will you find the one that exactly interests you on that specific day. They also say, you can suggest a new title and they will give you a feedback which tells you if your suggestion is adopted. However, you need Helium’s approval for the title, before you can submit an article to this title.
On Triond, you can set up your own topic without waiting for any feedback. Besides articles, you can also submit media files and photos as content. They offers great opportunities not only to writers, but also to photographers.
Therefore, on Triond, you have more freedom to make a decision for your topic and content.
2 — Triond sets no minimum word limit.
On Helium, each of your articles has to contain at least 400 words. But is it really necessary to use more than 400 words to express your opinions clearly? Not really! Sometimes, simple composition and fewer words with colorful illustration can help you make your ideas more clear and obvious. (Each time when you submit an article, Triond allows you to choose some photos from their system to enrich your content.
3 — With Triond, you get paid more frequently.
With Helium, you can only request your pay when at least $25 has been accumulated in your account. But on Triond, minimum payout amount is set as $0.50.
However, Helium also offers you great opportunities to earn recognition and income:
1) Helium provides more ways for increasing your earning.
On Helium, you can rate the articles of other writers. If you have rated enough articles and maintain 5 rating stars at the end of the month, you can receive $ 3 as rating bonus. Besides earning income, you can also learn from other writers through reading and writing others’ work.
2) For welcoming new writer, Helium pays you $5 welcome bonus if you submit your first article within seven days after the day you join in Helium. It’s really a great way to courage new writers.
3) You can invite your friends to make money for you.
You just have to send an email to invite your friend to become a writer on Helium. You can receive 5% bonus from the ad revenue earned by your friend’s article. It means: if an article of your friend $1, you can receive 5 cents on your side.
4) Helium pays you an upfront bonus.

5) Helium offers you empty title bonus.
If you are the first one to submit an article to an empty title, you can receive $1 bonus plus the upfront bonus for this article.
