When a woman is dating a man she is interested in, she will wonder just how interested he is in her. If a man is not interested in a woman, you'd think it would be obvious. This isn't always the case. A man may have an interest, but not an interest on the same level as the woman expects. The interest may be for something about you, but not an interest in all of you. It's important to understand if your man isn't interested in you. This can save you from more heartache should you get more involved.

Self-Centeredness

If the man you are dating always has to have things his way, he's not really interested in your feelings. This means he's not really interested in you as a person. A man who truly cares will have your feelings in mind. A very self-centered man will be number one in his life, not yours. He may be interested in something about you, but he won't care enough to give of himself to where you feel there is a partnership.

One-Way Conversations

Do you find yourself barely getting to say a few words in conversations with your man? One-way conversations can be a sign that your man isn't interested in you. A man who is interested wants not only to hear you, but to listen because that's how they get to know you on a deeper level.

Lack of Support

If you are running to friends when you are going through a painful experience instead of your man, there is a problem. A man who isn't interested in you, isn't interested in being a support to you. Your problems are not his concern. You'll begin to feel very empty and alone, even in his presence.

Cuts You Down

The people in our lives who truly care, builds us up. They hold us up when we need strength more than our own. A man who deliberately cuts you down and damages your self-worth does not have your well-being in mind. He is not interested in you in a caring and sincere way. The things he says that he passes off as jokes, aren't funny. They are very telling about how he feels about you and more than anything, how he feels about himself. This type of man is usually insecure and needs to cut others down to feel superior.

Questioning

If you are questioning whether or not your man is interested in you, likely he is not-at least not in the way you need. Your gut feelings are telling you something is off. A man who is sincerely interested will not leave you with doubts. He'll make sure in every way that you know he has genuine interest. He won't want to lose you and will do everything to make you feel secure in his interest toward you.
