Producer, Writer and Artist, time and time again Tim Burton has managed to dazzle his audience by producing extraordinary works of art. What makes his work so special is the method in which he uses to express himself. His method is unique and mystifying. Audiences often find themselves marveled at how he is able bring his imaginations to life on the big screen. He presents his characters to be quirky and dark with differences that make them special in their own way. He is a master of his craft and his unique style makes him a valuable member in the film community

Born in Burbank California Tim Burton was an average suburban kid, shy and not very out going, he was not an exceptional student nor was he fan of books. He found interest in the arts; painting, drawing and cinema this is where he found true happiness. He loved Horror flicks and Monster movies, his favorite movie as a boy was Godzilla, which was produced by Ray Harryhausen. As a boy his source of inspiration was in the works of Vincent Price an actor who focused on horror films in the early 1900s. This encouraged him to start producing short films in the comfort of his back yard, using techniques that we would consider ancient and outdated by today’s standards, but it is because of his dedication for the love of film that has made him into such a wonderful artist whose work transcends anyone’s expectation.

Tim Burton’s work ranges from Alice in Wonderland to Charlie and the chocolate factory. A few of his works in which he was truly acknowledged for his creativity and knowledge in his field is The Nightmare Before Christmas and Pee-Wee’s big adventure. His most recent masterpiece in which he with his close friend, Johnny Depp  won a Golden Globe Award  for the best motion picture. Though his directing skills are exceptional, Tim Burton is also known for his artistic skills. His drawings are displayed at the museum of Modern Arts in New York City.  He is the mastermind behind the great work of Alice in Wonderland and the Corps’ Bride. His works of art show his transition from an amateur artist to a legendary artist. His artistic sketches show an imagination that has surpassed all expectations; he is able to express his feelings in such a vivid manner, it leaves his audiences wondering what was possibly going through his head.
