How to do card tricks

Card tricks can amaze your friends, your enemies, your parents. There are multiple methods of card tricks. Some use sleight of hand, which is rather difficult to fully master, but can cause an illusion so real, it's like magic! Another method is card counting, which is integrating math into your tricks using the numbers on the cards and simply counting the cards out. All card counting takes is just a bit of memory and logic. This article will explain the beauty of sleight of hand. Tips and tricks to remember, and even a full on trick to top it all off.

The first and most basic form of sleight of hand is the double lift. The double lift is when you lift 2 cards at the same time. The double lift is usually performed with 3 cards. You can get pull off the double lift easily just by pulling down the bottom card, un-noticed, with your fore finger that's holding the pile of 3 cards, then by grabbing the 2 cards on the top. Please note that this can be pulled off with more than 3 cards. The purpose of this is normally to prevent a particular card from being seen, or to just show that 2 cards are the same.

The second one is just a derivative of the first one. The triple lift. Usually pulled off with 4 cards and leads to a double lift and to a single lift to show that all the cards are the same, with one final sleight of hand trick that makes it look like you're flipping the bottom card. I won't explain that last part, seeing as that's entirely intuitive and requires pure skill to begin with. It requires just throwing the card pretty much in a fancy way. The triple lift is easy as well. Pull down the bottom card and grab the 3 on top. It's a little harder to pull off, because you have to make sure they don't see the sides of the cards.

Another one is one that I cannot remember the name to, but the name's not important. You have at least 3 cards facedown, and you hold the cards with your non-dominant hand, with your thumb horizontally across the down side of the cards (Sides are top, bottom, up, down, left, and right) (Make sure the cards are parallel to the ground) and your other 4 fingers on the up side of the cards, so that your hand should cover about half of the cards. You then take your dominant hand, and secretly push over the bottom card, then grab the next card. You can pull off some pretty amazing tricks by doing that.

The last one is one that shows how the human minds are searching for the wrong things. You have 3 or more cards, then you hold the cards in
