Fund raising has never being easy, because human beings are always skeptical whenever the request /demand for money arises.  And whenever  the issue of money is raised anywhere, curiosity sets in.

In life every problem has a solution, therefore no matter how challenging it is to raise funds, there will always be a way out. It is essential for people to note that  it is easier to raise funds as an organization(group) than as an individual.

For an organization to go into fund raising, its authenticity has to be ensured in order to secure public confidence, the purpose of the fund and how it will be expended has to be spelled out.

When the above has been reached, which is not enough, the next thing should be to carry out community service projects under the auspices of Corporate Social Responsibility. This will endear the public more to the organization.

With the achievement of the above, once the need for funds arises, sponsorship letters and proposals should be prepared and distributed to the public. The public will respond greatly because they have benefited from the existence of the organization.

Organizations should ensure they open bank accounts with banks that have a good policy of Corporate Social Responsibility and if possible partner  with them in executing some projects. This partnership will ensure an easy accessibility of fund to the organization by the bank whenever the need arises.

Business ventures should be created by the organization that is always in dire need of money. The services rendered by the business should be cheaper than what is perceived as the standard as compared to its competitors. With this, high turnover will be ensured because it will be highly patronized by the public.  They should be made to know what the profit generated will be used for. With this on ground the stress  involved in fund raising will be reduced.

Members can always task themselves during fund raising, no matter how small the amount raised will be. At least its something. Still within the organization, auction sales could be done to raise funds.  Added to this, it  is  advised for members in an organization to be paying dues.

For instance if the business of an organization is centered on industrial trainings, the organization should carry out free trainings for staffs of companies within their state and country. Whenever the need for fund arises, sponsorship proposals should be given to the companies. They can hardly decline the request, because they are beneficiaries of the philanthropic gestures of the organization. Launchings could also be organized by organizations having secured the confidence of the public.

Organizations should endeavor to diversify in business ventures for supplementary income. When the points buttressed above are duly implemented, raising of  funds will not be difficult as perceived.

For individuals, some points analyzed above could also be applied. It's  just that a lot has to be done to secure public confidence.
