I cannot even see how slaughter is the best way since people who over breed or people who breed in general just to breed are the reason we are over populated if we bring back slaughter then those people get to keep doing what they are doing and countless horses are killed because of us. Remember these horses are here because of us and our doing. It wasn't them who came on the ships to the new world. It is us who should become more responsible we don't slaughter our dogs or cats or other pets who seem to be over populating our areas and filling shelters. Maybe we should have breeding licenses and manage breeding of horses better. The slaughter is a quick fix to problem that has been around for a while but no one noticed since we had the slaughter houses open.

The baby I bought was rescued by someone because they disliked her color so they left her alone and let her feet grow out of control. Thankfully someone intervened and took her. Probably if there was a slaughter house open she would have been sent there. What about the saying there is no bad color on a good horse. What about when the Q.H breeders breed a horse with HYPP or HERDA probably when they could, they'd send them to slaughter and probably say that it was a fluke and re breed the same horses. For what money? So you would rather have a horse born into pain and suffering and then right to pain and suffering in a slaughter house if you think the horse is going to be treated well you are wrong! They treated like shit like they are worth nothing but of course to you they are worthless and yet whatever god you believe in would not like how you treat his creatures.

Yes, animals were put as food and burden but do we have to be barbaric about how we treat them. I am sorry we thought the Natives were barbaric in how they were and yet they treated every animal with dignity and respect even the ones they would kill. Horses were held to a higher standard since this great animal would let them ride on their backs, pull their wagons.

Look at what we do we just breed them with lines that have disorders or send them to slaughter to “help” the population I AM SORRY … wait I am not slaughter is a cheap way a way that shows that we would rather take an easy way out than actually look at the situation. The wool is no longer covering your eyes now that the recession has caught up to you all with the slaughter houses gone. I do not feel sorry for you all who add more problems to this.  You
