Poetry: For my grandmother

by Bernadette K

Created on: January 31, 2010

I can't hear your beautiful voice  that sing your favorite song.

I can't see you in your favorite chair, waiting for your families to drop by and visit you.

I can't see you walking to the front door to say good bye when I want to go

Shock and speechless! That's what I had in mind when I heard from my mom that you're gone.

You leaved us in the morning without letting me say that I love you so much.

I could not believe it! Even until now, I could not believe that you're no longer here.

If I could fly to you and bring you back, I would love to do that.

But I think you're happy there. Happy to see your beloved one in Heaven.

Rest in peace, my sweet grandma.

I am so blessed to be your grandchild.

I love you.....
