They say you shouldn't pick favorites. But in the case of alcoholic drinks, this mixes hold a heavy weight of popularity on my list.

1. Singapore sling-Okay, maybe a girlie drink favorite, but with 1oz. of gin, splash of grenadine or cherry brandy, 2 oz. orange juice and 2oz. lemon bar drink, stirred, you just can't go wrong. It's tasty, fruity and feels great going down.

2. Whiskey sour-simply 2oz of rye, 2 oz of lemon juice or drink mix, this on the rocks classic is timeless and always in style. Can be shaken with ice and strained into a rocks or martini glass.

3. White Russian- A good mood drink. This not too sweet drink, consisting of 1, 1/2 oz of vodka, 1/2 oz. of Kahlua and three oz. of milk, shaken with ice and strained into a rock is great by itself, but a little weary when mixed with other drinks such as beer.

4. Mimosa-A celebration drink with a twist. With 1/2 oz. triple sec and 4 oz. of chilled champagne, followed with 3 oz. of orange juice, add this mix to a tall flute and be prepared to toast to this drink.

5.Bloody Caesar-Great for a lunch date. Build 1oz. vodka, 5 oz. tomato juice, dash of Tabasco sauce, salt and pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Moisten highball glass with lemon or lime wedge and placed on a plate of celery salt.

6. The B-52. Layer three equal parts Kahlua, Baileys and Grand Marnier in a shot glass. And you've got yourself a wonderful, rich shooter.

7. Cosmopolitan-How sweet it is, and very potent as well. Popularized by the Sex and the City television show this martini has got staying power for it's wonderful mix of 1, 1/2 oz. vodka 1/2 ounce triple sec, 2 oz. lemon drink, 1 oz. Cranberry juice. Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass.
