As a little boy, I was always happy,
Under my father's loving care,
He was always busy,
Looking after our welfare.
Now life is miserable,
Without my long suffering loving father,
He has no more troubles, not anymore,
For he has gone forever.
When I think of him,
My eyes begin to well with tears,
I can remember how he used to,
Calm our childish fears.
To me there is nobody in this world,
To fill the vacuum left by my beloved father,
He was always cheerful and comforting,
Though I knew he often had to suffer.
Oh father......
Why must you go?!
Leaving me behind to struggle,
Through every hour of an interminate day.
