The Tiger is the third sign of the Chinese zodiac and is the sign for people born in 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, and 1998.
Tiger's are generally sensitive, deep thinkers, capable of great sympathy and are natural leaders though stubborn, short tempered, competitive and unpredictable. They can make poor, hasty decisions but usually land on their feet. They enjoy a challenge. They are protective of loved ones, and very generous.
Those born in 1950 and 2010 are Metal Tigers and tend to be assertive, competitive and sharp, goal oriented. They like to be the centre of attention however they tend to jump to conclusions.
Those born in 1902 and 1962 are Water Tigers and tend to be intuitive, sensitive and tranquil. They value the opinions of others and have good judgment.
Those born in 1914 and 1974 are Wood Tigers and tend to be compassionate, giving people who work well with others. They are well liked by others.
Those born in 1926 and 1986 are Fire Tigers and tend to be optimistic, vibrant and expressive. The are good leaders and well liked by others.
Those born in 1938 and 1998 are Earth Tigers and tend to be grounded, realistic and cautious, weighing up their options. They're focused and successful.
Tigers tend to overdo things leaving them feeling exhausted which can cause problems with their health in the long term if they don't find a way to balance their life and manage their energy.
Tiger's are suited to careers such as advertising agent, office manager, travel agent, actor, writer, artist, pilot, flight attendant, musician, comedian and chauffeur. Vocationally, they're smart, resourceful and quick learners. Tigers love to be challenged but become bored easily and tend to change jobs often.
In relationships, Tigers are charismatic, passionate and exciting. Although they tend to be domineering if aloud to be, they are trustworthy, expressive and genuine. They need a partner able to match their energy and enthusiasm. They are most compatible with people born in the years of the Dog and Horse and are incompatible with people born in the years of the Ram and Ox.
