The bonds of love will last a lifetime and provide deep emotional satisfaction. Lustful romances, on the other hand, will be doomed from the start. They often leave people feeling hollow inside. Finding love is quite a challenge when your partners are only seeking physical intimacy. It's even harder to find "the one" when you can't tell the difference between lust and love in yourself. When in doubt, consulting a psychic can help you find answers.
What Is Love?
Love is strong affection for another person. This kindhearted feeling burrows deep into the soul and remains there forever. There's no getting rid of it. Even if the person for whom you care vanishes, your affection remains for life. When two people who love each other aren't together, they'll miss each other by means of an emotional longing, not a physical one. Of course, love for family and romantic love differ greatly. This is because romantic love is usually accompanied by a healthy degree of lust. This actually brings couples closer together. However, lust may also exist without love. That's when the problems begin. That's when hearts get broken. That's when it becomes crucial for you to know the difference.
Signs of Love
Finding love is easier when you know what to look for. Signs of true love include selflessness, thoughtfulness, generosity, all without a hidden agenda. This means giving and expecting nothing in return. Remember, all people show their feelings in different ways. Some are more open about feelings than others. Be wary of men who are too open emotionally; they may be trying to smooth-talk you into getting intimate. If you and your partner find each other's eccentricities charming and you're willing to do anything for one another, you may have found true love. Do you want only happiness for your significant other? Has your partner proven to have those feelings toward you? If not, pure lust may be to blame.
What Is Lust?
Lust can lead to a passionate relationship, albeit one without the fulfillment that love brings. Loving relationships are driven by selflessness and affection, while lust is driven by personal desire. This can easily make one feel used and disrespected. In any relationship, the other person's happiness should be the first priority. This is not the case with lust. You want to satisfy yourself above all else, and your partner is just there to help. Then he (or she) becomes disposable. This most often results in a short-lived and unrewarding relationship.
