The earth is like a glove
wearing fingers of the dead.
The sun slips into the ground
like an old friend
not afraid.
Darkness comes like an intruder,
until it's ready to leave.
Sun's up!
Taken for granted,
until last breaths
of life brings up old regrets.
unsettled frets -
Wait, I'm not ready, yet!
