As the bitter winter air nips at my skin
I think of you
A warmth flows from within
As the icy winter rain beats against my face
I think of you
All pain is erased
You are my sunshine on a gloomy winter day
Just a thought of you
And my day is made
Will you always be there?
This I cannot know
But I can promise you
My feelings continue to grow
In your arms
I can be me
With your hand in mine
I can be free
You are my liberator
Of spirit, heart, and mind
You are my star
My sweet sunshine
If I give you my heart
Will you remain true?
If I give you my heart
Will you love me too?
It’s a risk I’m willing to take
I’m putting my trust in you
Don’t let this be a mistake.
I’ll give it all to you
My heart, my soul, my mind
I want you forever
My sweet sunshine
