Many people don’t think there is anything wrong with looking at internet pornography once in a while. Once in a while is one thing, but it can get out of hand.  Internet pornography has power that we don’t look at often enough. There are many reasons why internet pornography has dangers, but the people who actually look at it would never admit to it.

Internet pornography makes it easy for people to enter the sites and look around at things we wouldn’t want our children to look at in a million years. There are many excuses for looking at internet porn. Trying to spice up a relationship is one of them. Looking at beautiful bodies is another. None of the excuses that are used are reality. The reality is that the people who look at them want something they can’t have. Most of them want to see nasty and often disgusting sexual acts of which they wouldn’t mind being a part of.

Internet pornography is dangerous because it promotes breaking up relationships. Too many people easily get addicted to internet porn and spend a huge amount of their time looking at it. They, then, seek out ways to fulfill the fantasy they have discovered on the internet site. One thing leads to another after that. The other person in the relationship doesn’t want to be involved with that type of sexual activity. Then the one that wants it looks elsewhere on the internet to find someone who is willing to do it. The relationship begins to fade into nothingness as the one who seeks sexual thrills hops from one person to the next. That, in turn, can lead to STD’s (sexually transmitted diseases).

Internet pornography also has the power to promote illegal activity such as child pornography. This is not only illegal, it is one of the most horrible crimes that you can commit against children. There is a market for it though or it wouldn’t exist. This, in itself is dangerous to children.

Internet porn is a very bad business, especially for those who have to deal with the pain it has caused them. Addiction to internet porn is too easily gained but getting away from it is nearly impossible. If more people would take the time to worry about what they have right in front of them, their lives would be a lot happier. Read the Bible instead, it has all you really need.
