I've mystified my ego for years plenty
Too easily accepting the simplest of answers
Never begging, never questioning
Am I right?
Am I wrong?
Where does all that energy come from?
Where has all that energy gone?
Where now I've focused long and hard
Before was just a whisper, a fainted prayer
Searching within the depths of this mysterious vessel
Trying to magnify that lurking sensation of completion
I'm wide eyed and opening up
And I can feel it more across my skin
I can feel it moving through my veins
That sense of accomplishment short lived but thorough
I've shed light upon the shadow, to embrace whatever I may find
To accept what it was I was hiding deep inside
Those mounds of colors and shapes constructing tangibles
The abstract is making sense now
I've been reaching out into the abyss
Looking for that change I've missed
That longing, that beautiful sense of awe
That fine intimacy that's been evading me since I started the journey
That great divinity that I've now embraced as my own to harness
That great divinity I shall convey and entice everyone with
The most important phase of my transcendence
The completion of the circle
The end of a longing
The end of excuses
Just me
Divinity, I
