Super Bowl ads have become a big deal, and are the best part of the entire super bowl experience. Watching the ads is the most exciting part of the game, besides seeing what big name entertainment will be having a wardrobe malfunction this year.
Advertisers are ponying up huge bucks to get their ads on prime super bowl time. The super bowl has the largest number of viewers for any one television event over the course of one year. Thus, super bowl advertisers must pay millions of dollars just for one minute of ad time. In one minute, that ad must be the best ad that company ever put together. Therefore, the advertisers place well appointed, funny, creative, interesting, stimulating, awesome, fun ads,
Super bowl ads have to make a big punch in a short time. That's why companies go all out, and create the best ads we will see all year. With millions of people watching, and with millions of dollars on the line, companies put together great ads. Many people who don't even like football, watch the game to see the super bowl ads. Many people rate the ads, and have contests with their friends. People have drinking contests, and rating contests. The game isn't the main show anymore. It is the ads and the halftime entertainment that is taking center stage.
Millions of people who would otherwise do something else during the super bowl tune into the game to see the great one time ads, and the halftime entertainment. I for one, never watched the super bowl until a few years ago, when my husband told me I had to, to see the funny ads. Many people are running out of the room during the game to go to the bathroom and get more food. They are sitting down to watch these stellar advertisements.
For many people the advertisements just add to the overall game experience. The ads make the super bowl more interesting, more fun and something to talk about on Monday morning at work and on the Internet. People are taping the ads and placing them on You Tube and other video sites.Others still, analyze the ads on TV shows and make money just talking about them.
Super bowl ads have non sports people watching the game and enjoying the fun of the game experience along with the avid football fans. The ads actually bring families together to watch the game. The ads bring couples closer due to each half of the couple having something to watch during the game. For football fanatics, they can watch the game. And for non sports people they can watch the ads.
Super bowl ads have become a part of American culture, and Americans expect the ads to be all they can be. From the beautiful Budweiser horses, to the Budweiser frogs, to the bikini clad gorgeous girl selling a product, we expect our super bowl ads to be as super as the game. The ads have become a big deal, sometimes a bigger deal than the game itself!
