The Cross
Jesus came to save us by grace.
He came to save us, and die in our place.
Kings that ruled brought death and shame.
When Jesus was among them, they knew not his name.
Still he walked the earth and love he would teach.
He healed the sick and taught about mercy as he preached.
He went unto his own, they recieved him not.
Even so, his love for them he never forgot.
On the cross,he said, "Father forgive them , they know not what they do."
On the cross he asked for love and mercy for me and you.
