COMING HOME
In a country far away
A soldier kneels in a desert and prays.
"Lord, I'm here in this far off land.
Please, give my family a helping hand.
I have been gone for so long.
Lord, I know you will make them strong.
Thou shall not kill is your law."
The soldier takes a silent pause.
"If I can kill, I do not know.
You will show me when I face my foe.
To protect my country, if i must die."
His prayer ended as he began to cry.
My prayers are with this soldier so alone.
I pray they will all be coming home.
