2:00am and I can't sleep
The washer spins and weaves
Similar to my mind
That spins and weeps
For you
2:00am and not a sound
but my fingers dancing
across the keys
a glance at the clock
I wait for daybreak
For you
2:15am and the house speaks
what rumbles inside my heart
as I utter a silent cry
feel a lone tear
fall
as I wait for you
