Poetry: Taking a chance on love

by Alex Fitzsimmon

Created on: January 26, 2010   Last Updated: January 30, 2010

2:00am and I can't  sleep
The washer  spins and weaves
Similar to my mind
That spins and weeps
For you

2:00am and not a sound
but my fingers dancing
across the keys
a glance at the clock
I wait for daybreak
For you

2:15am and the house speaks
what rumbles inside my heart
as I utter a silent cry
feel a lone tear
fall
as I wait for you
