I want to show you a type of love
That is unlike what most men posses
Far above what many women have come to accept
A love that does duly without you asking
It attends to your needs so that you are never lacking
I want to show a love that neither wavers nor wanes
But rather grows greater with time
And tribulations only fans its flames
I want to show love that is unlike the rest
To have you place your head on my chest
And listen to my heart’s song
Allowing its rhythm to take you to a place
Where you will find safety and all your fears gone

You smiled and asked me for a dance
You whirled me around the floor
