Love is gone
Stayed for a moment
But became bored with silly words
Leading to profound silence
Piercing pain and breaking eggs
Love is gone
No one to play with
Can not entertain itself
Nor fill the emptiness
Of boxes and brown grocery bags
Love vanished
Disappeared into the darkness
Love can not return
For Love must have someone
To share what dances
In the heart
And leaps from the soul
