How to pack a diaper bag for a long trip

Having a baby means that you have a lot more things to carry around with you. It's a good thing someone invented diapers bags in every size imaginable. If you are packing a diaper bag for a long trip, you need the super sized one. You will need all the room you can get.

Here are some of the things you should pack in the diaper bag for a long trip:

Toys

Pack some rattles or your child's favorite stuffed animal. Actually, pack both things. A long trip means you will need several ways to keep the baby occupied. It will be a much easier trip if you have toys for the baby to play with or look at.

Pacifiers

They are called binky's these days but they are the same thing. If you give your baby a binky, you need to pack some extra ones. Binky's easily get lost between the baby and the car seat. The easier it is to access them on the road, the faster it will be to get the baby settled back down.

Diapers

You can't ignore the obvious. Make sure you take plenty of diapers. It is always better to have too many than not enough. Don't feel as though you are being excessive because how foolish would you look if you didn't have enough diapers for you baby.

Baby Wipes

Make sure you have plenty of baby wipes as well. You can use baby wipes for a lot of different things. It is good for spit up, wiping baby for diaper change or for things completely unrelated to the baby. Make sure you have enough to wipe up every situation.

Bottles

If you don't breast feed, you have to make sure, above all else that you have enough food for the baby. You will need enough milk to last the entire trip. Make sure that you take a little extra as well. Riding in the car sometimes makes a baby extra hungry.

Extra Baby Clothes

You always want to carry extra clothes for the baby. Things happen and they usually happen at the most inconvenient times. Be prepared for these occasions by packing that extra set of clothes for the baby.

The main thing to remember is to pack more of everything than you intended to pack. It always pays to be prepared when it comes to your baby. Some of the above items can help avoid having to stop more often than you want to. Baby will be happy as long as you keep him dry, fed and pacified.
