Two wrongs can make a right and logic can show this is possible. The reason why I support this premise is primarily based upon experience as a faith-based believer, but math and logic also support what God can often do to turn two wrongs into a right and here are a few examples.
CASE ONE: You make a bad turn while following directions on a map. If you keep turning the same way, say left or right, you will eventually make a circle and come back to where you started. Not perfect, but you have not lost too much ground, only your time.
CASE TWO: You bought something which you do not like or ever use. You end up trading it off to a friend or neighbor who loves it.
CASE THREE: You make a bad decision and write a bad check. However, thieves have stolen your identify and/or mail and you call to complain about it. The bank reimburses you for all your costs including the overdraft fee.
CASE FOUR: Two people standing side-by-side. Let's call them dumb and dumber, however when one makes a stupid error, the other's error miraculously counter-corrects it. You see this a lot on TV shows like "The Office" or "Two and A Half-Men" which makes for great entertainment.
CASE FIVE: The Bible tells us that "all things work for the good for those who love and serve the Lord" and if you rely upon God's word you can count on that very premise being true. No matter what your enemies or adversaries throw at you, God will turn it around for your benefit. It may even take a second error of sorts to direct the outcome, for example your "toxic" neighbor has killed all living things on your block, but it also inspired the other neighbors to create community gardens, green spaces and adopt pets both domestic and wild.
Minus one plus minus one does equal minus two - a very bad place to be - but we also now live in the digital and high definition and fuzzy science age which means that numbers can combine to create whatever we want them to be. In the age of quantum physics and other mind-numbing configurations, even Einstein could see that as far as sure things go, it may very well be a matter of perspective as to time and place or where we stand to observe this crazy universe we live in.
