I don’t know about you but I want to be duped! I want a man who will shower me with love and affection, convince me he is the most perfect man on earth, created just for me and ask me to marry him on bent knee. And then I want him to let his real self show the day we return from the honeymoon so I can realize what a big mistake I have made. Don’t you?

So why do you want to “make” a man fall in love with you? Thousands of women search for advice every day on how to make a man fall in love, but the reality is,  you may be able to make him fall in love with an idea, but you will never be able to make him fall in love with YOU. And more importantly, you don’t want to. Do you really want to create a charade you will have to keep up for years, or do you want to be loved wholly and completely for who you are?

If you want to make a man feel a set of superficial emotions for a short period and trick him into a commitment, this is not the article for you. But if you want to find true love read on.

Below I have listed 6 Principles of a healthy and fulfilling relationship with a man not based on compromise or deception.

Love yourself – This is perhaps the oldest of clichés. But some things are cliché because they are true. Imagine your boyfriend complained about how he looked all the time, constantly belittled himself, and was incredibly needy. Would you fall for him? So why would you expect him to fall for it?

We fall for men for their confidence, and they value the same in us! Before we can fall in love we need to know we deserve to be loved. A women who knows she deserves a mans attention is incredibly sexy. 

But what if you are not that woman? Don’t panic. Take some time for you. Though you may be feeling desperate to find love, this time off will pay off in the future with a much healthier, happier relationship. Keep a journal and start learning about yourself. If you want, make a list of strengths and qualities about yourself you like. Involve yourself in activities that engage your passions.

By taking the time to be a more healthy and complete person you immediately make yourself more attractive. No man wants to be needed, but they LOVE to be wanted. Let him know that you are not looking for him to complete you, but rather that your already wonderful life is even better with him in it!

Above all, loving yourself means believing you are worth pursuing. We, as women, tend to throw our hearts away to easily,
