If this is true and the Haitians had made a pact with the Devil, then why have they been suffering for years upon years.  Wouldn't they have least had days of glory and later on bad for their mistakes?  Why is it every time something terrible occurs, religion has to be used as an excuse.  Did they not blame homosexuals when the epidemic occurred with AIDS?  Why is it that children throughout the world suffer?  How does religious beliefs explain that? 

This earthquake was a natural disaster.  The suffering of these people is unbearable to watch. Yet, perhaps, it is a shot in the arm to all of us throughout the world to realize that we must do all we can to help people less fortunate than ourselves.  We must do all we can to educate and help our neighbors to a better way of life.  In our country of the USA a better way of life means acquiring more and more. To other people throughout the world a better life is the necessities of life.  Shelter, food, and clothing.  Not to much to ask in this day and age.   One man's junk is another man's jewels. 

If this earthquake was a pact with the Devil, then why is God doing all he can to bring all people together to help the Haitans?  The scores of assistance throughout other countries has been truly amazing.  Unfortunately, the task at hand is overwhelming but all is being done that is humanly possible.  People want to help as much as they can.  America is at a time when we are going through are own trying to survive.  We have less income, but yet, us and other countries are finding ways and means to donate what we can.  Where the devil plays into this I find no evidence.  I have only seen good overtaking evil.  People going to Haiti to help all that are suffering.  You see the pain in the eyes of those who want to help, but have little to offer. 

The earthquake perhaps was a wake up call to all of us.  Yes, we have our own problems, fears, and worries.  Yet, when duty calls to help our neighbors, humans will forget their own problems for a while to help those in need.  How could anyone believe the Devil is involved.  Years will have to pass before Haiti will recover.  Each person in that country will have paid a price that most of us would not want a bill for.  Yet, maybe just maybe, in the coming years people throughout the world will realize that this little island needed
