There are many bloggers out there and  all of them are interested in making money. Not all of them do though, because not all of them know how to do it. There are some ways to seriously consider though.

Ways bloggers make money

1. Google Adsense

That one is quite easy. You can set up a blog (or more) at  blogger.com or wordpress.com for free and then  you can ask for google to provide you with  a variety of advertisements. These image and text based advertisements will be the source of your income from Google Adsense. Every time a visitor to your blog clicks on one of those advertisements,  you will earn a specific amount, a commission from Google Adsense. How do you get people to actually click on those advertisements though? Either by using adwords or SEO techniques.

2. Text Link Ads

Text link ads are all about placing static html links on blogs which generate a lot of traffic. In order to get those ads for your blog, you will have to provide some personal information. Most of the time, those ads will be placed in your blog within 48 hours. Unlike what happens with  google adsense, visitors do not have to click on those  advertisements in order for you to make money. You will be getting a monthly payment no matter what. In all propability you will not make much at first, but the more popular your blog will become, the more traffic it will generate and the more traffic it will generate, the more money you will make.

3. Affliiate programs

There are pay-per-click, pay -per-lead and pay-per sale affiliate programs. Amazon com, offers the Amazon Associates program, which  is one of the most popular and profitable  affiliate programs.Choose the program that suits your needs best and go from there. Bear in mind that there must be a connection between the theme of your blog and the affiliate program you will  choose. For example, if your blog is about relationships, you cannot market garden tools. Self-help books would be the way to go.

4. Sell services

Selling services through your blog can result in a substantial amount of  income  for you,over time. You can create a job board,  offer writing  and/or editing services, design services, social marketing consulting services,  SEO services, or sell your e-books from your blog. It is important to be both patient and persistent though, and do not expect to earn too much, too soon. Something else you will have to do is learn to market yourself in the most professional way. Offering too many things and sending too many newsletters will make you sound desperate, not to mention that the quality of your work will be questioned as well.
