Today, the earth shook. . .
And amidst the nations and tragedy, war and threats,
a child lay buried beneath earth and stone. Their sky had fallen.
And ours.
Alive or maybe dead, and a momma cries.
Tortured whispers heard throughout their lands.
And ours.
As we put aside all things not fashioned for good today,
to lament, worship and pray, We feel their grounds crumble.
And ours.
And though storms rip across skies, a rainbow spreads,
no longer hindered with prejudice and hate, their hope is manifest.
And ours.
