“The Magic of Lewis Carroll"

Now settle back, and listen to,

a story that will surely please,

of a nineteenth century author,

who inspired fantasy and ease.

As a new – named Lewis Carroll,

 talents now starting to flourish,

comprised a plethora including,

“A Valentine,” “A Game of Five,”

none so untidy or even boorish.

Highly educated, so socially shy,

Lover of theatre, whimsical words,

his classics as “Sylvie and Bruno”

transport avid readers all in herds.

Alice in Wonderland,” “Size and

Tears, “eliminates each tot’s fear,

and sends them all “Through the

Looking Glass,” to the adventures

where no one ever sheds a tear.

So, sit right back, and grab a book,

and let your mind and spirit soar,

to worlds full of such adventure,

from author, to see, never more!
