Now that you’re not here I feel lost,
Stuck inside myself somehow.
I’ve realized the cost,
For backing down.
I’ve always felt your presence.
I know you’ve always been so near.
I’ve heard of your existence.
Yet, I never thought that you’d always be here.
So I cast you out once I was frustrated,
And I regret it greatly how I’d resist.
You were so dedicated,
And without you I don’t exist.

Poetry: You're not here
by Buni
The dream that would come true someday
Only becomes a faint, unheard mutter
Wandering while inside the light of the night
Soon
I can hear the insistant tick of the clock.
I can see the knob turning as you put the key in the lock.
I can almost imagine

Now that you’re not here I feel lost,
Stuck inside myself somehow.
I’ve realized the cost,
For backing down.

Every time I think I see you there
my heart goes everywhere
Every time I think I think I you called my name
I begin to smile
Here I sit all alone, because I'm not like you
I have my ways, you have yours
I tried to change to be like you
It won't
