Macaroni an cheese is one of my favorite foods. It is a simple dish to make and it can be made several ways. Most times my family makes it for holidays and it is my kids weekly request. Sometimes you get bored with the same old recipe so you decide to turn it into something more that will be considered an complete meal. This mouth watering recipe was something i created as a last minute dinner idea. This will feed 6 to 8 people.

1 16oz. box cork screw pasta

1 8oz. bag sharp cheddar cheese

1 8oz. bag mexican blend cheese

1 8oz. bag colby jack cheese

8oz. sour-cream

11\2 c. milk

2 c. diced ham

6 slices bacon

1 medium onion diced

1 medium red pepper diced

salt and pepper to taste

smoked paprika

First, cook pasta in salted water according to box directions drain. Saute onion and red pepper until light tender. Cook bacon until crispy, then drain on paper towel. Let cool then dice up bacon. Mix all cheeses up in seperate bowl. Reserve a little cheese for the top. In mixing bowl add cooked pasta, sour cream, ham, bacon, sauteed veggies,  cheeses. Mix well pour in casserole dish, add reserved cheese to cover the top.Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 30 to 35 min at 325. Serve warm and with a side salad. Just to get that serving of vegetables in your  family's meal. They will still enjoy this.

Wow! Doesn't this sound yummy to your tummy? My family loved it.  I'm sure your family  will love it as well.   This is a complete and simple meal the entire family will enjoy. The kids can even help prepare this dish.  That's how easy this dish is, and it does not take much time to prepare.
