So Britney Spears shaved her head. Big deal. She also got TATTOOED, of all the scandalous things that could ever happen. Can you believe it? Well, I'm still not impressed.

When I first heard of this edge-of-your-seat saga, I thought that Britney had gotten a tattoo on her newly shaven head like the 90s model, Eve Salvail, who had a beautiful dragon inked into the side of her scalp. Had this been the case, I would have been more impressed, but Brit would still be a copycat following in the footsteps of Sinead O'Connor, Demi Moore, and Sigourney Weaver. At least Britney, like these other 3, has a pretty face and a head that is not irregularly shaped.

Here is my list of possible explanations for this "radical" move:

1. Maybe her hair was fried from constant bleaching and dying.
2. Maybe she's training for a career in Mixed Martial Arts.
3. Maybe she did it to rid herself of an even more scandalous lice infestation.
4. Maybe she shaved it for a movie role, like Sigourney or Demi.
5. Maybe she shaved it in symbolic support of a cancer patient.
6. Maybe her head just got real hot, like Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite.
7. Maybe her rocket to superstardom is running out of fuel as her schoolgirl outfit gets smaller and smaller in the rearview mirror, and she's just trying to drum up attention any way she can for a career that nobody cares about anymore.

8. Maybe she is just cracking up under the stress of career, family, and media attention.

Any way you slice it, the Mr./Mrs. Clean look is shaping up to be the coolest look for the hot Summer months, and we have Britney to thank.
