Angel
You called me angel before I was born
So an angel I will strive to be
Pain and tears along the way
The hurt I caused I could not see
I let you down
You picked me up
Brushed away the tears
Lost and found
Ups and downs
An angel I tried to be
Broken hearts and years of pain
Troubles caused and lots of rain
An angel I wished to be
My head on your shoulder
The tears fell faster
Your angel I need to be
Dancing slowly
The pain drifts away
You hug me close
Your angel I shall stay
