Never give up on something you love

We have all been put on this earth for a purpose and we are expected to experience many different things and overcome many obstacles as we progress through life, things that are meant to make us stronger.  We all experience good times and bad times, some of us experience worse times than others.  In many cases the lives that we experience are self inflicted, whether it is good or bad.  We make our own choices in life, some of which are the right choices and others will be the wrong choices.

If more of us followed our dreams and pursued things that we loved and made us happy, our lives could turn out so much more the way we wished.  Whether you are a lover of travelling, music, sport, acting or perhaps you are a person who is career driven.  Whatever you love, you should follow your heart.  It may result in something beyond your wildest dreams.  You may on your travels meet the love of your life.  You may become a super star with your love of music, or become a Hollywood icon.  Whatever your love or dream is, follow it because life is too short not to enjoy what makes you happy, and all you will end up with is regret.

Should it be a person that you love but you choose to let that person go because you have been lead to believe it is the right thing to do, trust me, you need to think very long and hard about the decision you are about to make.  Never give up on what you love.

 Many years ago I let go of someone that I loved for just that reason and I chose a different path in my life.  My new life did bring me some happiness but the person that I truly loved was not the person I was with.  I thought that I would never experience that love again and that I had lost my chance of true happiness.  I did for many years and as years went by I felt more and more lost, I also grew more and more unhappy.  I always felt a void in my life, an empty space in my heart, until I realised what that void was, because I never forgot her or the way I felt about her.  The love we once shared was special and something I never forgot and dreamed of the chance to meet her again to find out if there was still a chance for our love to be rekindled.   I searched for many years to find her and just as I was about to give up my search, I found her again. 

I was fortunate to have been given a second chance at love.  The love I once lost is who I believe I belong with for the rest of my living years.  I will do everything in my power to follow my dream, to follow the one I love and I will never ever let go of something I love again.

Never give up on something you love, as you may not get that second chance.
