I was married to Dave for seven years.  It was absolute hell, but when you are abused you automatically think that you have caused all the turmoil.  It was really weird that he tried to throw me of a cliff in Yosemite and tried to drown me in Hawaii.  Both times I was saved by a man who just happened to be around at those precise times.  This tall dark haired man both times asked me if I was alright, then extended his hand out to grab hold of me.  Dave said that he was just playing around and had me convinced of that.  He said that I took it too personal.

Our relationship was getting progressively worse.  He was nice and loving one minute and then he was abusive the next.  Anything would set him off and his anger was directed at me.  I was confused since part of me said that I had caused it, the other side said that this was not good.  The stress was unbearable.  I thought that I would die.

I decided to go see the Psychic Silvia Brown just to see if she could tell me what to do.   I asked Silvia many questions.  The main question was “Should I leave Dave”?   She paused for a moment and stared like almost into my soul then said, “Ride the caboose to the very end for he will be gone shortly, and you will be married again!”   She repeated what she said and then asked if I understood her.  I nodded as if to say yes, but was totally in shock.   She said run home and get your finances in order, get your house in order.  DO YOU HEAR ME?   Actually it was too much to comprehend for the moment.  Did she really mean that he was going to die?  Could not be…

On the way home the feeling was like I was not in my body.  I went straight to my best friend’s house as she was so anxious to hear what Silvia had said.  We were both in shock but found it hard to believe.  That was October 1990.  I did feel that if anything came out of that meeting it was to be more aware of my finances as I was a second wife and he had two grown daughters.   We had bought a brand new house at his insistence and it was too late to back out of the deal. 

In a few months we were moving to the new home down the street.  He was behaving stranger and stranger.  Sometimes he would lay on the floor in a fetal position and cry.  He would claim that no one understood him.  I finally called
