Smiling Children
Bundled up for the snow
Scarves around their necks
Mothers peering out windows
To see the snow angels, snowmen, and snowball fights
The eyes afresh each moment
At the wonders of the winter
Hot chocolate smokey breath
Mugs warm up their mittened fingers
To be a child again
To live for the moment
To enjoy the simplistic life
Bundled up for the snow
Knit hats atop their heads
Fathers plowing the sidewalk
Listening to the whoops and laughter
Of his happy children
Contentment
Beautiful, wintry, smiling merrily
Bundled up for the snow
