How to make money by writing for eHow

Writing for eHow is an exciting, fun way to earn money.  There are people on eHow who earn extra cash by writing part time and there are people who actually make a living writing articles for eHow.  So what's the secret to earning a lot of money writing for eHow?  Read on to find out.

Search the internet, specifically Google, for topics of interest. Find out what people are looking for.  The best way to do this is to check out Google and search under 'how to (do something)'.  For example: search Google for 'how to find a date', 'how to fix a dryer', 'how to cook a great meal'.  Search for whatever you like and see how many hits an article has.  The higher the hits, the more an article has been searched.  Then, find ways to rewrite an article so that it's different, but still stays searchable to people looking for that specific topic .

Write as many articles as possible, as often as you can.  The more articles you have, the better.  Earning money on eHow comes from the amount of articles you have written.  The more articles you write on eHow, the more money you'll make.  You can do this as a part time income and make around $100 - $500 a month or you can write obsessively and make a full time income from eHow.  It is necessary to note that if you want a full time income, you're going to have to write many many articles, and this will take time.  But it will be so worth it!  I currently have 121 articles and am earning $75 a month.  I know people on eHow that are making $300 a month and have 450-500 articles.

Add lots of pictures to your eHow articles to make them more interesting.  People are more apt to read your articles and view ads if you have pictures available for them to look at.  Try to use pictures that explain the steps your writing for eHow.  This also helps readers understand what your talking about.  The more descriptive the pictures, the better the article...the more views you'll get.  If possible, use your own pictures.  Personal pictures add a touch a intimacy to your eHow articles.

Get into eHow forums and find out what others are writing about.  Forums are a great way to get advice from others and find out their interests.  This is also a great way to make eHow friends.  The more eHow friends you have, the more help you'll get in eHow.  Talking about your concerns, interests, and articles on eHow forums will greatly enhance your ability to write for eHow.  Plus, learning how well others are doing will encourage you to do your best as well and keep you motivated to write often.

Revise older eHow articles.  Take a look at articles you've written prior on eHow.  Are they making money?  If not, try tweaking them a bit to get them viewed more.  Add more keywords (words that encourage readers to look at your articles because they are searched a lot), edit sentences to make them more interesting, add more pictures, or add more steps.  Do whatever you need to in order to enhance your old articles and make more money on them.  The best way to do this is to take a good look at eHow articles that are making lots of money and see how you can do the same for the older articles.
