Symptoms of Healthy Self-Esteem
A Healthy Self-Esteem is one that is based on a deeply grounded philosophy, and is embraced on a daily basis as people relate to each other in all areas of society. In some societies, it is difficult to practice what one believes in, due to strong laws, and political persecutions, but there are individuals, and groups who will stand up and defend lifestyles that they know has foundation in the word of God, or some other established traditional practices.
There are several areas of life that people will be involved, in that they will have to display healthy self-esteem, and these are financial, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, social, emotional, and in physical activities. Persons with a healthy self-esteem, will often be aware that the situations they face, are more than just about an individual, and as such does not make the opposition opinions and views, allow them to develop inferiority complex. The accusers might even make them out to be old fashion, crude, crazy, or even an alien, but because of the relationship with God, and the truth inherent in the Word of God, or the powerful dictates of the established tradition; they will remain unmoved.
Confidence is a critical element, visible among persons with a healthy self-esteem. This is due to years of experience, and rewards gained from adherence to a beliefs system. There are people who will tithe, pray, fast, read the Word of God daily, take care of their families, and love their neighbors as themselves, while the rest of the world practice other beliefs. These people are living out their convictions, and are able to maintain it for years, until it becomes a way of life. They are also conscious of the consequences of violating their beliefs and values, because it can have negative effect on the sustainability of the family.
People who have strong beliefs in the word of God, will even sacrifice their lives, in order to maintain conformity, which equates to a healthy self-esteem. In communities where healthy self-esteem are evident, a level of self respect will also develop and may positively affect many other persons, thus improving the quality of life generally.
A high level of sensitivity is also symptomatic of people with a healthy self-esteem. They will be quickly turned off by others, who may be trying to corrupt their thought process, often by a strong reprimand , or other actions that will communicate their opposition. This type
