Yes. Personally I think females who may be lesbian may turn this way because they have had bad and unsuccessful relationships with the men they have had walk into their life. Every relationship I had with a male was unsuccessful and they always seemed to let me down. However I may see it this way because I might not of been as interested in men as what I thought at the time. I didn't want to be seen with them in public but with my new found female love I want to show her off to everyone by kissing her and holding her hand down the road. This makes me feel proud, which I had never had with a male.
The men I seemed to end up with always ended up down the drain because they were lying, cheating or simply were only after one thing, and we all know that men are like in that respect. This definitely contributed to me turning to females because I was sick and tired of all the lies and deceit. Some people may see this as sexist but in my experience I was always treated like something on the bottom of their shoe and didn't seem to genuinely care about me. When I first got involved with another female, they seemed to care more for my feelings and treated me like how I always wanted to be. For example, showing me the affection I needed and spoiling me rotten. I say this but females can be just as bad in the lies and dishonesty.
My new found love was like nothing I had experienced before and I felt so special and we were already planning to move in with each other just after 2 months without no doubt in my head that it wasn't going to work. It is tough at times but we get through it and we know we can overcome any problem. If it was ever tough with a man, I would split up with them straight away because of the way they had treated me before hand. Besides, females are a lot more intimate in bed than any bloke.
I think that the person who might think they are gay turn to females for friendly advice when it's tough with the man they are with and so see females as more considerate than the relationship itself. This might be why the female 'comes out of the closet' into the world of lesbianism.
