When considering how to make money with a website, there are many  different options. In order to have a clear picture of what is available to you in the way of money making opportunities, you will need to first come up with a concept (niche) that will allow you to use many different money making avenues. To start, you are able to make money using ads of a company like Google Adsence, Bidvertiser and my personal favorite Kontera. You simply add these programs to your site and when one of your readers click on them, you earn an income.

Another way to earn money with your website is through affiliate merchants, you could use a company like Clickbank or Commission Junction to give you a wide range of affiliates that you can use, or you can look for affiliate opportunities on your own, such as Amazon and Ebay programs. Finding the right affiliate can help you make a great amount of money, especially if you have the right kind of information on your website, to bring in the traffic you will need to maintain this business.

Another great way to make money with your website is to write blog posts about other companies products and services. Websites like PayPerPost and Payingpost, are just a couple of ways that you can find others to write for and make money by simply writing more content on your own website. I have learned that when I am having burn out and can't come up with information that writing a post for another company gives me something to write about without straining my brain too much.

You can also sell advertising space on your website, this is especially lucrative, if you already have good page rank. Companies, blog writers and other websites will want to have their websites listed on your website if you have high page rank because it makes their website look more useful to the search engines. Your site can charge one price for each person who lists on your website and that will give you additional income with your site.

If you want to make money on your website, there are thousands of ways for you to make money by simply having useful content and promoting products. You can also promote your own products and services on your website as well which can bring in more income. The best thing is by monetizing your website you can have the stay at home income you always wanted.
