Dear Mr. Obama,
I’m going to focus on the major issue that’s facing the nation right now, and that’s mostly the health care reform.
I don’t buy into how good you think this health bill is. It’s a document that violates our freedom and is full of errors. The first one is that you have broken your campaign promise of not taxing the middle-class. In your health care bill reform, you have pushed and lobbied for an insurance tax against the taxpayers who refuse to purchase insurance. There have even been talks of having the IRS enforce a health insurance code on tax forms. And what will happen when no health insurance code is provided? The gracious taxpayer will be fined for violating your mandate. Yes, you have provided subsidies to cover low-income people, but given this economy, it doesn’t matter. If you really knew what it’s like here in the Real World, where people actually earn a living, you would know that many American taxpayers are barely getting by with the little they have right now.
The next thing I want to point out to you is your approach in having this legislation passed. You don’t realize this, but you sent a loud message to the American people that you don’t care when you, along with your constituents, agreed to have the Republicans blocked from sealing the deal. We know you’re not stupid. You know the Republicans will justifiably oppose. You should know that the American taxpayers know what this health care reform bill is really about: it’s all about you, Mr. Obama.
The next thing I want to point out to you is the other broken promise you made during your 2008 presidential campaign is to have the health care discussions televised for all the public to see. You don’t realize this, but when you decided to have these meetings behind closed doors, you had something to hide. In addition, you sent out a loud message to the American people when you and your constituents pushed to have the GOP blocked from debating over the bill. The American taxpayers are not stupid. You know that if the Republicans were there, you know that the reform bill would face an instant defeat. But because you don’t want any opposition to your arrogant agenda, you override tradition. What impression does that give to the American people?
Then there is also your campaign promise of not driving this nation into further debt. The American taxpayers can clearly see that this so-called reform
