Poetry: Bad friends

by Elizabeth Elia

Created on: January 16, 2010

People are what they are

You cannot change them

Everyone becomes set in their ways

Some people are nice

Some are mean

Others yet are lifelong friends

And others still are terribly bad friends

No matter what they are though

Try to stay as true and kind as possible

Even the richest feel a sense of emptiness

As they have no true friends to care
