Symptoms of a Healthy Self-Esteem in a Christian
Bob smiles a lot and laughs too. His desk at work is clean, perhaps a little cluttered at times. He laughs at himself and with others. He does not have anything to prove to anyone, but still does a great job. The other day, Bob was late with an order and his boss gave him a stern talking-to. Bob took it all with a grain of salt, admitted he was wrong, and asked for ways to fix the problem.
What is wrong with Bob? Nothing; not a thing at all, Bob feels good about himself and his faith in the Lord, for he knows we were all created in His image, and he finds a beauty and security in this. Bob’s life is good, but not too excess, and his body is healthy for his age.

Feelings of well-being are the most general and far reaching of the other symptoms. In knowing that you are living in a masterpiece of the Lord and walking the path He set for you, then you will feel better about yourself and your life. If you accept who you are, both the good and the bad, you will make better choices in your diet, occupation, personal relationships, and every other area of your life. These decisions, made with faith in the Lord and yourself, bring about the second symptom of a healthy self-esteem, which is…
Confidence! Confidence, my friends, is another symptom of a healthy self-esteem and can influence most, if not all, areas of your life. Confidence is not being boisterous and loud, nor
