The wintry chill in the air sends a shivering message straight to the bones core.
It's time for hats, mittens, and scarves.
The items during childhood your mother would yell for you not to forget.
Once outside with comrades you were brave and tough, stashing them quickly in you coat pocket.
Fearing the thoughts of others more than the cold brisk air.
Itchy, warm, colorful protectors of many prints and sizes.
Shielding skin from the numbing sting of frostbite.
