Being more active would sure make a fine start however coupled it with proactive strategies for all walks of life and the tide starts turning. The cost of convenience gluttony and undereducated choices will see a raft of health issues fit for a horror movie. We are lazy beyond compare. The side effects alone will comprehensively out-line the complete disregard we often have for the amazing creation God bestowed upon us for our operational purposes.
We teach nutrition is schools, we offer free cooking classes, education round enjoyable exercise like dancing and walking with friends. Get rid of the car and buy a bike, walk to the shop, go swimming at the pool, river or beach, go and mow the old lady down the roads lawns, take the stairs, kick a ball round with kids. Exercise can be incorporated into so much we do and added to nutritional nous results are guaranteed.
Exercise diligence and start the day with a healthy choice breaky .This gets the metabolism started and at a good speed. Exercise caution by chewing your food properly with at least 20 chomps per mouth full. Exercise patients and have a smaller meal wait the twenty minutes and see if you’re still hungry. Chewing for longer helps here because your brain believes you have eaten more food. I think this leaving the table hungry strategy was first credited to Thomas Jefferson.
For people who just can't get it together say pre diabetic and diabetic's set up health farms. Put people on them and educate them with regards exercise programs that would stop them losing limbs. Teach them how to cook the deluxe meals to complement their medical goals and lifestyle ambitions. Might sound costly but if that's your view ask your insurance provider what diabetes cost to manage when things go wrong. Ask a person whose gone blind about their quality of life. They might also have lost limbs or had a stroke.
Support people through change with education that is not cost prohibitive. Show people the best approach in supportive environments. This needs plenty of planning so not to adversely affect productivity. So maybe a pilot scheme could be run in this current climate as there are plenty of people to fill the gaps in the workforce. The problem with the ambulance waiting at the bottom of the cliff in this current situation is the cliff’s about to collapse under the load.
