Poetry: Uncontrollable feelings

by Karissa Mcclellan

Created on: January 15, 2010

I love you,
And yet,
I'm not supposed to,
You want me,
Yet you don't love me,
 Like I love you.

You were my everything,
The air I breathed.
And you say you're sorry.
You can't help how you feel.
Just like I can't help,
That I'm in love with you.
And I'm not supposed to be.

I want to die,
But you won't let me,
I want to see,
What you see.

I want to hold you,
Close to me,
But as we both know,
that's impossible.

I love you,
But it shouldn't be,
For you no longer,
Love me.
