They march two by two
off to war they go
they travel far to other countries
in there uniforms with gun at their sides
they go to fight for peace
they go to make the world a better place
a better place for our children
a better place for their children
they fight to make the world a better place
they die to bring peace to the world
Their families cry and remember
their pride does not replace their loss
the names added to losses of other wars
War after war after war
on and on and on
till peace is all that's left
