For Morgan, with Love
The struggles you are facing
I’d gladly bear for you
To take away your pain
There is nothing I would not do
If only that I could
You’d not have to shed a tear
I’d keep your heart from breaking
Take away everything you fear
You are my very best of friends
And it hurts me just to know
You have been set upon this path
But remember this as you go
You will never be alone
You will never leave my heart
I will always hold you dear
Even when we’re miles apart
My ears will always listen
My shoulder I will always lend
This is a promise I make to you
Because I love you and you are my friend
