Past, present & future
Some memories of my childhood
like a spring waterfall
clear and vivid
refreshing and unforgettable
I love to go back
but they are all in the past.
Some pictures of my past were blurry
I wonder why
is something I want to forget?
but isn't it they were my times of tarsus and thirst.
Rocky and blurry experiences
I don't want to go back to
But these were the ones that made me stronger
and survived.
My present is brighter
still with bumps
I am still thirsty
Even in the brink of dying and hopelessness
my place of tarsus made me stronger
resilient, understanding and compassionate.
My past made my present brighter.
I look forward to tomorrow
knowing and expecting
the change of seasons
from spring blooming with flowers
to the dead of winter
but I am ready and hopeful
I thank God for the tarsus in my life.

Between the shallows of our pride
And breakers of remorse.
