Food boxes contain basic food staple items, and will feed a family of 4 for 2 to 3 days. Volunteers are needed for warehouse positions that include sorting and stocking items, packing food boxes, and operating the forklift. Other jobs include working in the office, assisting with fundraisers and special events, and organizing a food drive.

Serving the homeless in the community, the Compassion Center offers a nightly shelter for men and women, a clothing room, hot lunches served daily, and food box distribution to low income residents.
