Startup businesses you can open with little or no money down

There is multiple ways to start up a business with only a small amount of money, or maybe even pennies.

A popular way would be to start up an eBay store. This will cost you a VERY small fee to list a few items. Then once those items sell, you can use that money to invest in wholesale products from providers all around the world.. then grow from there.

Of course, that is just one of the many examples that I'm going to share.

Another would be to provide a service around your neighborhood, from mowing lawns (with your equipment or theirs), or even cleaning out some garages. As soon as you see the income flowing, you can use that money to start up an LLC, and even franchise your business nationwide.

If you would like to sell a product that is custom made, or of personal use to your customer, then charge them a prepayment and use that money to purchase the materials, and pocket the rest. For example, if I wanted to start up a jewelry making business, I could charge $20 for a custom made bracelet. You ask your customer to prepay the $20, then lets say you use $10 for materials, then you can pocket the other $10 for personal use. This is a good way to start up your business with no money.

Another idea would be to provide a transportation service around town, but specify in something different then just a plain old taxi. Offer free refreshments and riddles for the ride. Yes this will cost some money, but very small amount. Just fill up your car once, buy some cheap refreshments, and start to advertise by the word of mouth. Charge them a fee when they get into the car. Really, it is like a taxi, but come up with something creative to lure your customers back to you EVERY TIME they need a ride.

If you take any of these ideas and apply them to your life, it would be helpful to start off small and build up from there. As soon as you see money coming in, whether it be small or large, you can start to build up your capital to pay off debt, and start up another business, or start stocking inventory.

I hope this helped, and I also would like to wish you a very very successful 2010. Go get em!
